Self study 4 - Simple Game


In order to create a more gamified experience, the ghosts will now spawn of their own accord in set locations, once they spawn, they will seek out the player, and attempt to spook them. If the player is spooked they will lose some health, which they can regain by picking up the floating barrels in the world. If the player runs out of health, they are removed and a game-over screen is displayed.


I used Ian's Scripts provided in his tutorial for the spawner, health and trigger functionality, and edited them slightly to suit my needs.

Finally I added a particle effect to the death of the ghosts:
